Si tratta di una nuova IP che arriverà esclusivamente su Wii U e sarà un action in cui il giocatore avrà il compito di controllare e difendere il proprio territorio. Le partite saranno quattro contro quattro online e, all'interno del gameplay, l'inchiostro rivestirà un ruolo assolutamente centrale ( potremo, per esempio, nuotare nel nostro stesso inchiostro per spostarci rapidamente all'interno della mappa ). Il titolo inoltre sfrutterà al massimo il Gamepad Wii U, offrendo attraverso il dispositivo una visuale completa del campo di gioco e la posizione di utili elementi strategici oltre che per i controlli tramite (i soliti) analogici oppure una combinazione che sfrutta anche i sensori di movimento.

Non so perchè ma lo stile grafico mi sa di brutto di Nickelodeon, mentre la musica del 2° trailer da 0:24 è meravigliosa, disturbante, è già dritta in testa. Bene così ho molte aspettative su questo gioco.

Report from the Squid Research Labs. Your main way of painting the ground in ink and attacking enemies is the Paint Gun, which shoots using the ZR button. There's many different types of weapons, including the Charge Gun, which allows you to hit at a distance and the Roller, which is useful in close-range combat.

Nintendo will hold a Splatoon event during the Game Party Japan 2015 on December 31 and January 1 in Tokyo, the company has announced. The Wii U game will be playable as well. I imagine the demo will be the same as the one shown at E3 in June, but maybe Nintendo will surprise us!
